Wingecarribee Shire Council will be taking its office on the road and visiting the residents of Mittagong on Wednesday 2 November as part of its mobile roadshow.

Council’s General Manager, Jason Gordon said the roadshow – or Information Kiosk – was an opportunity for residents to ask questions of Council without having to visit the Moss Vale Civic Centre.

“Engineers, Planners and Rangers plus Customer, Tourism and Community Service Officers will be in attendance to answer any specific Council related queries residents may have.

“It will also be an opportunity to take a look at the Indoor Aquatic Centre proposal and provide feedback on concept plans,” he said.

Visitors who arrive early will be rewarded with some unique tempting tastings as part of Tourism Southern Highland’s Red Carpet Day which promotes the local ‘My Southern Highlands’ Ambassador Rewards Program.

The Mittagong roadshow will be the final kiosk for 2011 but dates and locations have already been set for 2012:

  • Wingello, 1 February 2012
  • Colo Vale, 7 March 2012
  • Avoca, 4 April 2012
