Clean Up Australia Day Set to Transform Communities Nationwide

Are you ready to help your local community stay beautiful and rubbish free as Clean Up Australia Day on 3 March 2024 approaches? Make a positive impact, and create a cleaner, greener environment right here in Wingecarribee Shire on the day. Here’s everything you need to know:

  1. Ways you can participate:

Individual Clean-up: Grab your clean-up kit and choose a spot in your town, village or local park to tidy up. Once Residents or community groups register, they will have a clean up kit mailed to the address they provide.

Get the family involved: Instil a sense of collective environmental responsibility in our littlest residents through to getting the whole family involved on the day.  Tips on how to do this can be found on the Clean Up Australia website.

Create a group event: Rally your friends, colleagues, or neighbours for a collective effort and register the event so others can get involved to.

It’s simple! Visit Clean Up Australia Day Website at www. and register your clean-up event. Choose your location, gather your team, and make your mark on this national initiative.

  1. Clean-up Kits:

If you need clean-up supplies – upon registering, you will receive a FREE clean-up kit which can be posted to you!  We have additional clean up kits that can be collected at the Resource Recovery Centre (Free)

  1. Share Your Wins:

Snap photos during your clean-up and share them on social media using

#CleanUpAustraliaDay. Inspire others to join the cause and showcase the positive impact we can make together!
