ANZAC Day services across the Southern Highlands
As the Nation prepares to pause and commemorate our servicemen and women, Wingecarribee Shire Mayor Councillor Ken Halstead is urging residents to attend one of this year’s ANZAC Day services.
“Next Wednesday marks the 103rd anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops on the shores of Gallipoli in 1915,” he said.
“The 25th of April also marks 100 years since the Second Battle of Villers-Bretonneux.”
“To commemorate these occasions and pay respect to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, services will be held at numerous locations across the Shire.”
