Thomas-Andrew Baxter welcomes participants to the 2016 expo

Wingecarribee Shire Council will host the Shire’s annual Wingecarribee Community Services Expo on Thursday 25 February at the Bowral Memorial Hall.

Council’s Coordinator Community Development, Cath Brennan, explained that the Expo provides an opportunity for residents to discover the range of services and support groups that contribute to our Shire.

“Over 35 exhibitors will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on a wide variety of services available to our community,” she said.

Services to be represented include housing, disability, aged care, volunteering and health.

“The last 12 months have been particularly challenging for many Highlanders,” Mrs Brennan said.

“This expo is a great opportunity for anyone perhaps doing it a little tough at the moment to have a chat to a local service provider.

“On the other hand, people may like to touch base with some of the exhibitors to volunteer their own time and services.”

The Wingecarribee Community Services Expo is a COVID-safe event and will be held at the Bowral Memorial Hall, located at 24 Bendooley Street in Bowral, on Thursday 25 February 2021 from 11am to 1pm.

The Community Services Expo is free to attend and is proudly supported by The Disability Trust, Anglicare, Highland Community Centre, Auscare Support and Wingecarribee Adult Day Centres.
