Council extends swimming pool hours
Kids already complaining of boredom?
Wingecarribee Shire Council is doing its bit to keep your kids cool these school holidays by extending the hours of operation at Council’s Moss Vale and Mittagong swimming pools.
As of Monday 19 December both Moss Vale and Mittagong Swimming Pools will open from 6am until 6pm (Monday to Friday) and 10am to 6pm on weekends and Public Holidays.
The extra hours bring both pools in-line with the Bowral Swimming Pool operating hours.
Bundanoon Pool operates from 6am to 9am and re-opens from 2pm to 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays the pool is open from 2pm to 6pm. The pool opens from 10am to 5pm on weekends (times may be extended if the temperature reaches 35 degrees).
All four facilities will be open on the Public Holidays of the 27th December and the 1st and 2nd of January from 10am to 6pm. Mittagong Pool will also be open on Boxing Day from 10am to 6pm. All pools will be closed Christmas Day.
And remember to keep an eye out for Council’s brand new giant inflatable pool toy the ‘Whale Tail’ which will be doing the rounds of the four pools the entire summer. Locations and times to be advertised.
