Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting the community to view and comment on the proposed fees and charges for the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre.

At the Council Meeting on 11 September, Councillors voted to endorse the proposed fees and charges for public exhibition, encouraging all user groups and the public to make a submission and have their say.

Council’s Sport and Recreation Working Group, which includes community representatives, was consulted on the proposed fees, which are considered to be in line with those offered at neighbouring aquatic centres in Wollondilly and Kiama.

The centre, which is due to open later this year, will be operated by Belgravia Leisure, whose portfolio includes the management of 62 aquatic centres across Australia.

The proposed fees and charges for the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre will be on public exhibition from 16 September until 14 October 2013. They can be viewed on Council’s website: www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/whats-on-public-exhibition.

Written submissions should be referenced “Proposed Fees and Charges for the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre” and can be posted to Wingecarribee Shire Council, PO Box 141, Moss Vale 2577, faxed to (02) 4869 1203, or emailed to wscmail@wsc.nsw.gov.au.
