Two topics at the centre of an Extraordinary Meeting of Council on Tuesday 7 November

31 October, 2023

Outcomes of the joint tender negotiations undertaken as part of ‘Project 24’ and consideration of The Charlotte Proposal for Berrima Marketplace Park are topics at the centre of an Extraordinary Meeting of Council called by Council Administrator Viv May for next Tuesday November 7.

Efficient waste management matters to our community and Project 24 addresses the waste and resource receival, processing and disposal needs of the Wingecarribee community.

The Charlotte Project is a proposal put forward by Wingecarribee Women Writers for the installation of a monument to Australia’s first children’s author Charlotte Waring Atkinson, within Berrima Marketplace Park.

Community members are encouraged to come along to the Extraordinary Meeting which will be held at Council Chambers from 3:30pm on Tuesday November 7. The meeting will also be live streamed for viewing online at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au. View the full agenda at Council Meetings | Wingecarribee Shire Council (nsw.gov.au).
