Road and drainage works, Willow Vale

31 July, 2015

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that as a part of its capital works program, road and drainage upgrade works are to be undertaken at the intersection of Willow and Carlton Street, Willow Vale as of Tuesday 4 August 2015.

Work will include road widening and sealing, installation of stormwater drainage pipework and construction of kerbing.

These works will take place primarily between house numbers 25 and 29 Willow Street.

As a result of these planned works Council is required to close the southern end of Carlton Street, at the intersection with Willow Street, for approximately eight weeks.

During this closure the primary school bus route that normally travels down Carlton Street will be diverted down Orient Street.  All other bus routes will not be affected.

During the upgrade motorists travelling in the vicinity are reminded to exercise care when traveling through the work zone, follow any changed traffic conditions and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the area.

Council apologises for any delays or inconvenience.
