Council meeting postponed
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that due to the ongoing bush fire crisis, this afternoon’s scheduled Ordinary Meeting of Council has been postponed until next week.
Councillors have decided the current bush fire emergency is more pressing, and have subsequently decided not to form a quorum so that staff from Council involved with the Emergency Operations Centre may focus their attention on the continuing developments.
Council apologises for any inconvenience and reminds residents that all Council meetings are open to the general public.
The rescheduled Extraordinary meeting will take place next Wednesday 30 October, starting from 5.00pm in the Council Chambers at Wingecarribee Shire Council’s Civic Centre on Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale.
