Changed traffic conditions – Moss Vale

20 May, 2014

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that as a part of its regular maintenance program, footpath, kerb and guttering works are scheduled to commence at the intersection of Argyle and Waite Street, Moss Vale starting Monday 26 May 2014.

Work will include the repair of existing footpath, kerb and guttering in the streets.

Due to constraints in space and to ensure the safety of workmen, north-bound heavy vehicles travelling along Argyle Street will be unable to turn left into Waite Street for the duration of the works.

Traffic flow in other directions will not be affected.

Signage will be erected advising motorists of the works and advising of alternate routes.

Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.

Traffic controllers will be onsite to manage traffic during the works.

Council apologises for any delays or inconvenience.

Weather permitting, the works should be completed by mid-June 2014.
