Wingecarribee Heritage Award winners announced
Restoration and conservation projects which preserve and protect our Shire’s heritage and history were celebrated at the recent 2018 Wingecarribee Heritage Awards.
A total of 10 projects were recognised across eight categories at the evening ceremony held in the Henrietta Rose Room in the Old Bowral Town Hall on Monday 21 May.
Council’s Strategic Land Use Planner – Heritage, Fiona Mann said the awards were an opportunity to celebrate our Shire’s heritage and history.
“The Wingecarribee Heritage Awards are a showcase for design solutions and heritage projects that incorporate innovative heritage architecture and emphasise our Shire’s rich history,” she said.
“They encourage and recognise those residents and businesses that have done something really special to protect and preserve our local heritage.”
