Temporary closure of Bowral Pool
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that Bowral Swimming Centre, located at 152 Mittagong Road in Bowral, is temporarily closed due to a mechanical plant failure.
Water quality cannot be guaranteed until the fault is repaired.
Staff and contractors are currently in attendance tending to the issue which will require custom- machining of pipework. Once the repair works are complete Council staff will require time to bring the water quality back to required standards.
The timeframe for the repairs are subject to availability of specialist contractors. As a result Council expects the pool to remain closed into late next week.
Council apologises for any inconvenience and will issue a follow-up alert as soon as the issue has been rectified.
Council reminds swimmers that the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is open as per normal trading hours.
