Stormwater culvert construction – Sutton Forest
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that as a part of its scheduled works program, road causeway works are scheduled to commence on Belanglo Road, Sutton Forest from 6 June 2016.
Located 400 metres west of the Hume Highway, the project will involve the demolition of the existing pipe culvert causeway and construction of a new box culvert.
Work will also be carried out on the road surface immediately approaching the culvert.
Signage will be erected and traffic controllers will be stationed onsite during construction. Motorists are however warned they may experience minor delays.
Road users and pedestrians are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work area.
Council thanks motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologise for any temporary delays or inconvenience.
Weather permitting, work should be completed by the end of August 2016.
