Sewer pipe inspections to commence in Moss Vale CBD
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that a sewer cleaning and inspection program will commence in Moss Vale’s central business district (CBD) from Sunday 6 February 2022.
The program involves accessing the sewerage system via manholes, jet cleaning the pipes and undertaking inspections using closed circuit television (CCTV) equipment.
Data collected will be used to assess the condition of the mains and plan future renewal works.
Works will be completed at night to minimise traffic disruptions and ensure worker safety. Works will be carried out between 7 pm and 4 am, Sunday to Thursday.
Property owners and tenants are encouraged to keep toilet lids closed for the duration of the works.

Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of machinery and workers in the area.

Works are expected to be completed by early March 2022, weather permitting.
