Mittagong Pool partially closed for water polo tournament

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that the Mittagong Swimming Pool, located on the Old Hume Highway in Mittagong, will have restricted access for public swimming as the Southern Highlands Water Polo Club hosts its Club Championship Tournament this weekend.

The facility’s 50 metre pool will be unavailable to the public during the following times:

  • Friday 29 November from 3.45pm to 6.00pm
  • Saturday 30 November from 7.00am to 9.00pm, and
  • Sunday 1 December from 8.00am to 2.00pm.

The 25 metre and toddlers wading pool will be open as per normal hours.

The tournament will also be open for spectators.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.

Council also reminds swimmers that both Bowral and Bundanoon Swimming Pools remain open as per normal hours and the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre will officially open this Saturday the 30 November.
