Mittagong Memorial Park refurbishment

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that refurbishment works are set to commence on the Mittagong Memorial Park from Monday 5 November 2018.

The works are being carried out in conjunction with the Mittagong RSL Sub-Branch and include installation of granite paths, garden upgrades and restoration of the existing monument and shelter.

During the works immediate areas of construction will be temporarily fenced off to the general public.

Works will be carried out between 7am and 3pm Monday to Fridays with the refurbishments expected to be completed by Friday 16 November 2018.  All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.

Council thanks nearby residents and park users in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary inconvenience.

Council would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the Mittagong RSL Sub-Branch, its members and surrounding businesses for their support of the restoration project.

Mittagong’s Memorial Park is located on the Old Hume Highway in Mittagong.
