Footpath works on Bowral Road
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that footpath construction works are scheduled to commence on Bowral Road from Monday 29 May 2017.
Located between 128 Bowral Road and Tulloona Avenue in Bowral, the work will involve widening of the road verge and the installation of a new concrete path.
During construction footpaths may be closed and sections of the road may be temporarily reduced to one-southbound lane. The road will however remain open to immediate residents and through traffic.
Road users are urged to take care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of machinery within the work areas.
Pedestrians and cyclists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Council thanks residents in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience caused.
The project is scheduled to be completed by late June 2017. All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.
