Bank deposit slips retired from rates

22 July, 2014

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that due to the declining use of bank deposit slips on its quarterly rates notices, the option will be removed from its upcoming 2014/15 annual rates notices and future water and sewer notices.

Customer use of bank deposit slips to pay rates has dropped under 3 per cent in recent years.

Council reminds customers that alternate options for payment include via Bpay, credit card payments can be made over the phone on 1300 138 795, online at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au, either in person at Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre or any branch of Australia Post or via cheque mailed to Council.

Should your bank permit, regular direct debit payments can also be set up from customer’s savings and cheque accounts by downloading the direct debit form from Council’s website or contacting Council’s Revenue Team on phone 4868 0888.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.

The 2014/15 annual rates are due to be issued in late July.
