Construction at Sunninghill Ave & Eridge Park Rd, Burradoo
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that construction on a new water trunk main will commence at the intersection of Sunninghill Avenue and Eridge Park Road in Burradoo starting Thursday 1 July 2021.
Construction works will take place at the intersection to enable Council’s contractor to connect the new watermain to the existing pipe network under Eridge Park Road.
These works are being undertaken to supplement and improve the reliability of the existing water supply in Burradoo.
To enable these works to safely proceed the south-bound lane of Eridge Park Road will be temporarily closed between 8.00am and 5.00pm on:
- Thursday 1 July,
- Friday 2 July, and
- Monday 5 July.
During the temporary closure traffic controllers will be stationed on-site to direct motorists.
Normal traffic conditions will be reinstated for Saturday and Sunday.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zone and are encouraged to take alternative routes around the work zone where possible.
