CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS Scheduled roadworks for Erith Street, Bundanoon
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that as part of its ongoing road maintenance program, road works are scheduled to commence on Erith Street in Bundanoon starting Monday 13 August 2012.
The repair works will be undertaken between Ellsmore Road and Bundanoon Oval.
Starting the week of 13 August, Council’s maintenance crews will be installing new drainage pipes in two separate locations across Erith Street. This will require the complete closure of Erith Street between 7am and 4pm daily.
The following weeks Council crews will be undertaking reconstruction of the pavement along this section of road. Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Traffic controllers will be onsite to manage traffic during the works with speed restrictions of 40kph enforceable (24 hours) during the construction period.
During the works motorists may experience some delays and are encouraged to use the Railway Avenue and Anzac Parade detours where possible.
Works will be undertaken during business hours only. The road will be re-opened outside of these hours.

Weather permitting, the works should be completed by Friday 7 September.
