Looking to sell your horse after another failed Melbourne Cup bid?

Wingecarribee Shire Council in partnership with Landmark Moss Vale will host the Shire’s first registered horse sale in over 20 years at the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange in Moss Vale on Saturday 12 November.

Chairman of the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange, Councillor Duncan Gair said the November Horse and Saddlery Auction showcased the $4.8 million dollar Livestock Exchange’s versatility.

“Since opening the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange in July we’ve already witnessed strong cattle sale increases.

“And now we’re able to offer the first of what we plan on becoming regular horse and saddlery auctions,” he said.

A range of ridden and unridden horses will be included in the auction.

“The inclusion of this horse auction is another feather in the cap for the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange and will provide real economic benefits for the entire Shire.”

The Southern Regional Livestock Exchange Horse and Saddlery Auctionwill be held on Saturday 12 November 2011 at 10.00am.

The Southern Regional Livestock Exchange is located at 550 Berrima Road, Moss Vale.
