Sharks and crocs to invade Bowral Pool – Take 2

Wingecarribee Shire Council is bringing a school of animated sharks and one giant crocodile to Bowral Pool – via the silver screen – onFriday the 16 March.

Both sets of creatures will feature as part of Council’s annual Dive-Inyouth summer film screening originally planned for January but re-scheduled due to inclement weather.

Presented in conjunction with the Wingecarribee Youth Advisory Council and the Highlands Youth Centre, this year’s Dive-Incelebrations will include two feature presentations.

A Shark Tale (rated G) kicks off the fun for the juniors and families at 7.00pm whilst teenagers can be scared silly by Lake Placid (rated M) from 8.45pm until 10.15pm.

Entry is $5 per person and includes a sausage sizzle and drink. Kiosk facilities will also be available.

Dive-In will be supervised by Council’s Youth Liaison Officer, staff of the Highlands Community Centre and members of the Youth Advisory Council and Pool attendees.

Dive-In is a drug and alcohol free event.
