Residents invited to opening of Robertson STP
Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting residents of Robertson to join them for this Friday’s opening of the Robertson Sewage Scheme.
The scheme will be officially opened by Minister for Primary Industries, the Hon Katrina Hodgkinson MP, Member for Kiama, Mr Gareth Ward MP and Wingecarribee Shire Mayor, Councillor Juliet Arkwright onsite at the Robertson Showground.
The function will begin at 10.00am at the Robertson Showground where guests will board a bus for a brief ride to the newly commissioned Robertson Treatment Plant. Following a guided tour of the facility, guests will be shuttled back to the Showground for the official opening and light refreshments at 11.00am.
Residents wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by phoning 4868 0707 or via email at amanda.lawrence@wsc.nsw.gov.au by Thursday 26 September to assist in catering.
Confirmed guests are asked to meet at the Robertson Showground from 9.50am.
The Robertson Sewage Scheme is a joint project between Wingecarribee Shire Council and the NSW State Government.
