New location for Moss Vale Sharps Bin
The Sharps Bin located in Council’s Civic Centre courtyard in Moss Vale has moved to the refurbished Moss Vale Medical Centre in time for the facility’s grand opening in June 2014.
The previous location at the Civic Centre was unavailable after business hours.
“It was decided that the bin’s prior location was not the most practical, and moving it outside of the new Medical Centre would be a more appropriate site,” said Council’s Acting Deputy General Manager of Corporate and Strategy, Mark Pepping.
“Here the bin will also be available for after-hours drop offs.”
The Moss Vale Medical Centre is located at 61 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale.
“We thank Dr Vincent Roche and the management team of the Moss Vale Medical Centre for taking on this important community service.”
The Moss Vale Sharps Bin was freshly painted before being transferred and made secure on relocation.
Other Sharps Bins can be found attached to Moss Vale’s Leighton Gardens toilet block, Stephen’s Park in Bowral and Winifred West Park in Mittagong.
