Due to water damage from a severe storm experienced on Wednesday 11 March, Moss Vale Library will be closed on Thursday 12 March and will reopen Friday 13 March.

Water entered the library through the ceiling and whilst staff acted quickly to limit water damage to books, all reading material in the library will require a thorough assessment.

Carpets and furnishings will also need to be dried out before the library re-opens.

Whilst books may still be returned to the Customer Service Counter at the Moss Vale Civic Centre, Council reminds patrons that both Bowral and Mittagong Libraries will be open as per normal operating hours and accept book returns and loans.

Bowral Library will open on Thursday 12 March 2015 from 9.30am to 6:30pm.  For more information phone 4861 1167.

Mittagong Library will open from 10am to 5.30pm.  For more information phone on 4871 2252.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.
