Information Day for Robertson Sewerage Scheme
Wingecarribee Shire Council General Manager, Jason Gordon is urging residents to find out more about construction of the Robertson Sewerage Scheme Project.
A Community Information Day is being held on Saturday 4 June for residents and property owners to learn more about the project.
The day is being organised by AJ Lucas which is the contractor engaged by Council to construct the project over the next 12 months.
Members of the AJ Lucas Project Team will be on hand to answer questions on the day. Maps and fact sheets will also be available.
“This information day is an ideal opportunity for residents to go along and find out more about the construction program for this project,” said Mr Gordon.
“While Council has been working through the planning process for the scheme, this is the first time residents will have a chance to meet the construction team from AJ Lucas.
“The team will be able to answer residents’ questions on the construction program and also the way the project will unfold.
“Council representatives will also be on hand to answer questions about relevant issues.
“I encourage people to go along and find out more.
“The next 12 months will be a busy time for Robertson and it is useful for residents to understand the process which lies ahead.
“This project is a significant investment in the infrastructure of our region and will provide a major benefit for the people of Robertson and the local environment.”
The community Information Day will be held on Saturday 4 June at the Robertson Bowling Club in Yarranga Street.
The day will run from 12noon to 4pm. Visitors can turn up any time during this four-hour period.
