Draft Community Safety Plan on exhibition

Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting comment from residents on its draft Community Safety Plan which is now on public exhibition.

The plan identifies four key community safety issues and details how Council will work with stakeholders to respond to and enhance safety across the Wingecarribee Shire.

The draft plan has been prepared in consultation with the Wingecarribee Community Safety Committee and the NSW Police Hume Area Command and developed using information gathered from a Community Safety Survey and local crime statistics.

Following the close of the exhibition period, all responses will be collated and included in a final report to be considered by Council.
