Representatives from the NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro will visit the village of Exeter on Monday 11 November 2019.

Staff from the office of the Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional New South Wales will visit Exeter Village Hall to hear from residents and their concerns surrounding digital connectivity.

The drop-in community information session will provide an opportunity for residents to voice any concerns regarding regional digital connectivity including study opportunities, running an online business or connecting with family and friends.

The information session has been organised by the NSW State Government in an effort to bridge the digital divide between metropolitan and rural communities.

A total of 20 regional towns and villages will be visited by the Deputy Premier’s Office throughout the month of November.

Council encourages anyone who may be experiencing digital connectivity issues to use the meeting as an opportunity to air any concerns directly with the office of the Deputy Premier and hear of the State Government’s plans for the future.

The drop-in community information session will be held at the Exeter Village Hall from 5 to 7pm on Monday 11 November 2019.

Residents who are unable to attend the information session can have their say by completing an online survey at tinyurl.com/ConnectRegional by 31 December 2019.  Hard copies of the survey are available from Council’s Civic Centre located at 68 Elizabeth Street in Moss Vale.
