Wingecarribee Shire Council’s new website is set to be launched on Friday 1 July.

Council’s General Manager Jason Gordon, said the more powerful website offered online customers numerous benefits.

“We’ve built the new website with the intention of making information easier to find for our customers.

“Consequently, our new site – or Online Customer Service Centre – has been designed with an improved search facility to make navigation easier.

“In addition, the new Online Customer Service Centre offers our customers 24 hour per day service and 7 day a week convenience from their homes, workplaces or wherever they have internet access,” Mr Gordon said.

The General Manager reassured customers that Council’s existing services would not be comprised by the launch of the new website.

“As home internet usage increases our new Online Customer Service Centre will undoubtedly become one of our most important customer contact methods.

“However, for those customers who prefer face-to-face contact, our Customer Service Centre at our Moss Vale Civic Centre remains open and will continue to provide exceptional personal customer service.

“And whilst we believe our new Online Customer Service Centre is vastly improved, we encourage all users to provide us with feedback so we can continue to fine-tune and improve it.”
