Council to host Farnborough Estate public meeting

Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting members of the community to attend a public meeting to discuss the proposed future development of Farnborough Estate in Moss Vale.

The public meeting will be held in Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre Theatrette, on Donkin Avenue, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Thursday 13 February 2014.

At its meeting on 11 December 2013 Council resolved to hold a second public meeting to discuss the proposed amendment to the Wingecarribee Local Environment Plan (LEP) 2010 with regard to the Farnborough Estate at Moss Vale.

The proposed agenda for the public meeting is as follows:

  •  6:00pm – 6:10pm Introductions and update since last meeting
  • 6:10pm – 6:30pm Presentation by applicant
  • 6:30pm – close Comments from the public

Residents of Farnborough Estate and any other interested parties are invited to attend the meeting. Councillors, Council staff and the applicant of the proposed development will also be in attendance.

It is proposed that the matter will be reported back to Council at the Planning and Strategic Peak Committee of the Whole on 12 March 2014.
