Council mourns loss following Buxton road tragedy
Wingecarribee Shire Council extends its deepest condolences to families and our close-knit community following the tragic overnight loss of five young lives.
The scale of this tragedy will deeply affect our communities, hundreds of parents, relatives, first-responders, friends and teachers.
Our thoughts are with all at this sad time.
Council has established a Community Drop-In Point at the Balmoral Village Hall located on Wilson Drive in Balmoral, in partnership with the Red Cross. If you need support, please visit today or Thursday or Friday between 10am and 4pm.
There are also counselling services being offered at the Buxton Community Hall today provided by South West Sydney Local Health District and Community Links Wellbeing. If you need support, please visit one of these sites or call Community Links Wellbeing on 4683 2776.
