Council calls for Service and Supply Tenders

Wingecarribee Shire Council has called for tenders to provide a range of services including tree maintenance, traffic control and supply of road materials for a two year contract period.

Wingecarribee Shire Council’s Director of Infrastructure Services, Michael Brearley has invited local contractors to bid for the work.

“Local contractors are encouraged to submit a tender to participate in the tenders for a minimum two year period with a possible one year extension,” he said.

Tenders being called for include:

  • Public tree maintenance
  • Pavement marking
  • Traffic control
  • Asphaltic Concrete,
  • Electrical services, and
  • Supply of roads materials including road base, aggregates, bitumen emulsion, topsoil and turf.

The tender contract commences 1 January 2012 through to 31 December 2013.

Tender documents can be obtained at no cost via Council’s tendering web site located at: tenders.nsw.gov.au and following the link to ‘Local Councils’ to access the Wingecarribee Shire Council documents.

“Like many Councils we are now using electronic tendering as a secure means of streamlining the tendering process, making it easy for tenderers to obtain the documents freely from their workplace or home,” Mr Brearley added.

New users must complete a New User Registration to access the document.
