With just a few months to go until this year’s enthusiastic group of year 12 students hit the books in preparation for their final HSC exams, Bowral Library is hosting a free HSC Skills and Essay Writing seminar.

The event is the first in a range of HSC sessions that Wingecarribee Libraries facilitate to help local students improve their study skills and prepare for their final year of high school.

The free seminar will focus on essay writing and HSC skills and will be held in the Henrietta Rose Room on Tuesday 14 April 2015 from 2.00pm until 4.00pm.

Places can be booked at www.bowrallibraryhscseminar.eventbrite.com.au.

The seminar will focus on improving writing skills and will be presented by an experienced teacher from First Class Tutoring with extensive background in teaching HSC subjects and HSC marking. Students will learn to respond to essay style questions while developing their own style.

Wingecarribee Libraries will hold further study events throughout the year including a dedicated HSC English seminar and the ever-popular annual HSC Lock-In prior to the final exams.
