Belgravia Leisure has officially been appointed as contract manager of the indoor Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre.

Council awarded the contract for operation of the $8.4 million facility after councillors selected Belgravia Leisure as the successful tenderer at the Council meeting on 10 July, 2013.

Belgravia Leisure’s current portfolio includes the management of over 80 sporting and leisure venues across Australia, including 62 aquatic centres.

The new indoor centre will offer year-round exercise, leisure and rehabilitation options including a heated eight lane 25 metre swimming pool, warm water exercise pool, water play area, gymnasium, club and party room, kiosk, shower and change room facilities.

“Today’s announcement is another step closer to the Moss Vale indoor aquatic facility becoming a reality for the Shire’s residents and visitors,” said Wingecarribee Shire Mayor, Councillor Juliet Arkwright.

“Council looks forward to working with Belgravia Leisure in managing a first-class swimming and exercise facility that will offer our Shire’s citizens access to year round fitness.”

The Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is scheduled to open later this year.
