All Southern Highlands youth are invited to attend Unplugged Youth, a late-night performance event aimed at local teens.

Unplugged is a bi-monthly event funded by Wingecarribee Shire Council and supported by Coffee Culture in Bowral. The gig is run by young people for young people and is the perfect way for performers to gain experience playing in front of a live audience in a cafe-style atmosphere. It’s also a great opportunity for youth in the area to have a fun night out and support local talent.

Coffee Culture offer a special Unplugged menu on the night, so come along and have some dinner and a coffee while enjoying some of the best entertainment that the Southern Highlands have to offer.

Six performers will be there on the night to showcase their talents, and organisers are always on the lookout for acts to participate in future events. Unplugged is open to musicians, stand up comedians, magic acts… anyone who can perform ‘unplugged’ (as the name suggests) is encouraged to get involved.

The next Unplugged event will be held at Coffee Culture (under the Empire Cinema) on 1 June from 7pm – 10pm. Please note that this is a drug and alcohol free event and there is no BYO food or drink allowed.
