Wembley Road and Farnborough Drive catchments overland flow study on exhibition

Wingecarribee Shire Council is calling on residents to provide comment on the draft Wembley Road and Farnborough Drive Catchments Overland Flow Study which goes on exhibition as of Friday 16 June 2017.

The draft flood study was completed using data from previous storm events, computer modelling and historical information collected from local residents.  It identifies various flooding issues and proposes numerous solutions to address them.

This draft document forms part of Council’s Floodplain Risk Management Program which aims to reduce the impact of flooding on the community and help better prepare, predict and manage future flood events.

The draft flood study can be viewed at Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong libraries, the Moss Vale Civic Centre or online at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au/development/whats-on-public-exhibition.

Submissions must be received by Council no later than 4pm on Monday 17 July 2017 and be made in writing to:
