Wingecarribee Shire Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from Studios and Artists to participate in the 2014 Southern Highlands Art Studio Trail.

The Art Studio Trail is the feature event of the Southern Highlands Arts Festival which runs throughout the month of November.

“The Art Studio Trail gives the public a rare opportunity to meet the makers, to see their work in the environment within which it was created and to buy direct from the studio door,” said Council’s Cultural Development Officer, Celeste Coucke.

Last year studios involved in the scheme averaged more than 100 visits during the program.

All participating studios will be required to open on the first two weekends of November and participating artists and studios must be located in the Wingecarribee Shire.

The 2014 Southern Highlands Art Studio Trail will run over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of November and again the following weekend of the 8th and 9th of November.

To submit an Expression of Interest visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/EOI_artstudiotrail14.

For further information contact Council’s Cultural Development Officer, Celeste Coucke on phone 4868 0761.

Expressions of Interest must be received by Friday 16 May 2014.

The Southern Highlands Art Studio Trail is a Wingecarribee Shire Council initiative organised in consultation with participating artists.
