Temporary toilet closures at Leighton Gardens, Winifred West Park and Burrawang Oval

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that the public toilet facilities at Leighton Gardens in Moss Vale, Winifred West Park in Mittagong and Burrawang Oval at Burrawang will temporarily close for repairs and upgrades.

The public toilet facilities at Burrawang Oval will close on Tuesday 30 April and reopen in mid-August 2019.

The facilities at Winifred West Park in Mittagong will close on Thursday 2 May while the facilities at Leighton Gardens in Moss Vale will close on Monday 6 May. Both of these facilities will reopen in mid-September 2019.

All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.

The temporary closure is to allow Council to undertake repairs and upgrades to the three buildings including installation of new tiling, window frames, partitions and fixtures.  Other works will include the re-configuration of cubicles and internal and external painting.

During the temporary closure the three amenities buildings, which includes the public toilet facilities, will be closed and fenced off to the general public.

Portable toilets will be erected for the duration of the temporary closure at the three locations.  The parks other recreational and picnic facilities will however remain open.

Leighton Gardens is located on Argyle Street in Moss Vale, Winfred West Park on Main Street in Mittagong and Burrawang Oval on Church Street in Burrawang.
