Temporary closure of Market Place playground in Berrima

19 August, 2011

As part of Wingecarribee Shire Council’s ongoing Open Spaces Improvement Strategy, Council will be temporarily fencing off the playground equipment in Market Place, Berrima from Tuesday 23 August 2011.

The closure is to allow the removal of the existing play equipment and installation of new equipment.

Weather permitting the fencing will be removed and new playground will be re-opened early October 2011.

The new Market Square playground design will feature heritage themed play equipment including a climbing fortress, knights horse rocker, spiral slide, rope-crawl tunnel, multi-person ‘nest’ swing and flying fox.
