TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF LEIGHTON GARDENS, MOSS VALE

17 September, 2013

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that Leighton Gardens in Moss Vale will be closed to public access from Wednesday 18 September 2013.

The closure is to allow the access of heavy machinery in the park.

The entire park area, apart from the toilet amenities, will be closed and isolated with temporary safety fencing during the closure.

Alternate public amenities can be found at the adjacent Moss Vale Train Station and the nearby Council Civic Centre located in Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale.

The upgrades to the park are part of Moss Vale’s Sesquicentenary Anniversary celebrations.

The temporary closure is expected to remain in place until the park re-opens on Saturday the 23 November 2013. Weather permitting, every effort will be made to open the gardens prior.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.
