Sewerage connections, Lamond Lane, Bowral

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that emergency sewerage connection relocation works are scheduled to commence in Lamond Lane, Bowral from Wednesday 11 July 2018.

The works will involve relocating sewer connections for several properties into the existing sewerage main.

Hours of construction will be 7.00am to 6.00pm Mondays to Saturdays.

During the connection works the laneway will be completely closed however the lane will be partially re-opened during the re-instatement works.  The connection works are anticipated to take 8 days and the re-instatement component a further 4 days.

Works will be undertaken by specialist contractor Carve Earthworks.

Road users and pedestrians are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions including detours, exercise care when travelling through the construction zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.

Signage will also be erected and traffic controllers will be stationed on-site to manage traffic during work hours.  Where possible, motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Council thanks motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience.

The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2018.  All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.
