Scheduled roadworks for Exeter Road, Exeter
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that as part of its ongoing road maintenance program, road works are scheduled to commence at the intersection of Exeter Road, Badgerys Way and Middle Road in Exeter starting Monday 6 August 2012.
The area being reconstructed is approximately 100 metres long x 8 metres in width.
Works will involve excavating the existing road surface and constructing a new asphalt pavement to improve the road surface quality.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Traffic controllers will be onsite to manage traffic during the works with speed restrictions of 40kph enforceable (24 hours) during the construction period.
During the works motorists may experience short delays.
Council apologises for any delays or inconvenience.
Weather permitting, the works should be completed by the end of the week.
