Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that road works are scheduled to commence on Penrose Road in Bundanoon from Tuesday 2 October 2018.
Works will include widening of the road shoulder, construction of a new road surface and installation of a safety barrier. New safety signage, line-marking and raised pavement markers will also be installed.
The works will be carried out on a 200 metre section of Penrose Road near the intersection of Coalmines Road in Bundanoon.
Construction activities will be carried out between 7.00am and 6.00pm weekdays.
During construction sections of the road may be temporarily reduced to one-way traffic however the road will remain open to through traffic.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Council thanks residents and motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience.
Works are expected to be completed by mid-November 2018. All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.
Funding for the $263,000 project has been provided via the NSW Government’s Safer Roads Program.
