Public presentation to precede Council Meeting
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that a presentation by Dr Ian Wright will precede the upcoming Ordinary Meeting of Council on Wednesday 27 September 2017.
Councillors have invited Dr Wright to publicly speak to his report on water quality issues from coal mining operations in the Wingecarribee river system.
The public presentation is the result of a Notice of Motion passed at the Council Meeting of 13 September 2017 inviting both Dr Wright and a representative of Boral to deliver presentations.
The presentation is scheduled to begin at 2.30pm with Councillors provided the opportunity to ask one question each at the conclusion of the presentation. There will be no questions allowed from the public.
A brief adjournment will follow the presentation before Council moves into the Ordinary Meeting at 3.30pm.
The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers located in the Moss Vale Civic Centre on Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale.
All Council meetings are open to the general public.
