Planned shutdown of Clarence Street water supply on Thursday 29 November

27 November, 2012

Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that it will be conducting essential upgrades to the Clarence Street water service in Moss Vale on Thursday 29 November that will result in temporary disruption to the water supply in the street.

The temporary disruption is necessary in order for Council staff to undertake essential work to the water main supply.

The work will affect only commercial properties located on Clarence Street.

Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to begin at 9.00pm on the evening of Thursday 29 November and conclude at approximately 10:30pm.

Once water supply is returned, Council recommends turning a cold water tap on slowly allowing any trapped air to escape. If the water is discoloured on reconnection, Council recommends running the tap nearest to the water meter at full flow until cleared.

Council apologises for any inconvenience.
