Immediate road closure, Wilson Drive Hill Top
Wingecarribee Shire Council will temporarily close Wilson Drive in Hill Top from 4.30pm Monday 9 March to undertake urgent repairs to fix a broken sewage main.
Council crews need to temporarily close Wilson Drive north of Church Avenue in Colo Vale for approximately six hours to safely access and repair a broken rising sewage main.
Prior to 4.30pm the road will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic with traffic controllers in place directing motorists.
After 4.30pm the road will be completely closed to both north and southbound traffic at 1339 Wilson Drive. There will be no through traffic.
Residents and motorists wishing to access Hill Top or Balmoral after 4.30pm will need to continue north via the Hume Motorway and onto the Old Hume Highway in Bargo via Remembrance Driveway. Likewise, southbound motorists will also be diverted onto the Hume Motorway and south onto Church Avenue in Colo Vale.
Council apologises for any temporary delays.
The cause of the fault is yet to be determined.
