Immediate closure of Old Bowral Road, Mittagong
Wingecarribee Shire Council has closed a section of Old Bowral Road from Mittagong Road to the Gib Gate Primary School effective immediately to repair a fault in the road surface.
A section of road approximately one kilometre in length has been closed to vehicular access in both directions to repair a section of road that has subsided.
Council is currently investigating the cause of the failure.
The road will remain closed until repairs have been completed.
Council apologises for any inconvenience and advises motorists to use alternate routes where possible.
