Exeter water main renewal works
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that water main renewal works are scheduled to commence on Bundanoon Road and School Lane in Exeter from Monday 25 October 2021.
Works will involve the replacement of approximately 730 metres of ageing water main along Bundanoon Road and School Lane between Ringwood Road and Pile Street.
Construction activities will be carried out between 7 am and 6 pm weekdays by Council’s contractor Killard Infrastructure Pty Ltd.
During construction sections of the road may be temporarily reduced to one lane, however both will remain open to through traffic.
Traffic management arrangements will be in place during construction hours.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when travelling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Property owners will be provided notice prior to temporary interruptions to water supply.
Council thanks residents and motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience.
The project is scheduled to be completed by late November 2021. All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.
