Emergency Extraordinary Meeting called for Friday 27 March
Wingecarribee Shire Council wishes to advise that an Emergency Extraordinary Meeting of Council has been called to take place in Council’s Moss Vale Civic Centre on Friday 27 March 2020 at 9.30am.
The emergency Extraordinary Meeting has been called to allow Council to address four Rescission Motions received following the Ordinary Meeting of 25 March 2020 which need to be considered as a result of the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The meeting will be held in the newly relocated temporary Council Chambers within the Moss Vale Civic Centre. Members of the public will not be able to physically attend the meeting; however, proceedings can be viewed via Council’s Facebook livestreaming. This measure is consistent with the newly introduced amendments to the Local Government Act (1993) passed by the Government to ensure compliance with social distancing requirements.
