Council to undertake late night water works in Bundanoon
Wingecarribee Shire Council is set to carry out night works on Bundanoon’s water supply in an effort to bolster water pressure in high-lying areas of the village.
The temporary works will be carried out by Council’s water maintenance crews from Wednesday 1 February between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
Works will involve staff redirecting water supply and investigating increasing water capacity by utilising additional water assets
These works will be repeated every night until Friday 3 February 2017.
During these late-night works residents may notice a slight decrease in water pressure as staff recalibrate water flows.
Water supply will not be disrupted.
The adjustment to the water supply is necessary to accommodate the above average summer usage currently being experienced by the village.
While water pressure in Bundanoon currently exceeds national guidelines, the recalibration will help provide a more constant village-wide supply.
